Make Your Own Quality Jewellery

If you are interested in doing a jewellery class with your friends and/or family, please email us at hiveartisancollective@gmail.com and we can try to find a suitable date and time. This is a great class to celebrate a loved ones birthday, a bridal party day out, Christmas present, or just an excuse to do something creative. The jewellery making class will be held in our Charleston workshop, up here in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. The class can run for either 3 or 6 hours and everybody will be working on the same jewellery piece. If you have a specific idea in mind of what you would like to make, please let us know in your email and the final decision will be made upon consultation with our jeweller Josh. You do not need to have prior experience at jewellery making to participate in this class. Some options of jewellery pieces you could make in 3 hours are below: - Twisted or plain silver bangle - Plain silver ring - Saw pierced leaf pendant - Fold formed earrings Some options of jewellery pieces you could make in 6 hours are below: - Stone set ring or pendant - Advent saw pierced Christmas decoration (as pictured in our photos, i.e Joy, Hope, Love) The class can have between 4-7 people participate and the ages will need to be from 16 years of age and up. Please note if there are multiple 16-17 year olds, there will need to be at least 2 adults participating. Prices are below: - 3 hour class: $75 per person + materials - 6 hour class: $140 per person + materials Please note material costs can vary widely depending on the piece of jewellery you want to make. For example, a silver ring would cost between $10-$25 and a silver bangle can cost between $30-$100+. You can also purchase gemstones at your class if you are doing a stone set piece, which can cost between $5-$500+. What to wear: - Casual dress code but you MUST wear enclosed footwear, long hair tied back and no loose flowing clothing. If you turn up in inappropriate shoes, you will not be able to participate in the class. - If you usually wear glasses for up close work, please bring them! Cancellation Policy

We do not offer refunds for missed classes and a make up class is not guaranteed. If you are unable to make it to a class, please let us know as soon as possible. The more notice you give, the better chance you have of getting a make-up class. If you do miss a class, you will only be offered a make up class during the same term you have booked for. We will endeavour to provide a make-up class if you give us at least 2 weeks’ notice, but it is not guaranteed. If you are unable to provide 2 weeks’ notice, you can send a friend in your place, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria. Please send name, number and email of your replacement, when you notify us of your absence. Eligibility criteria include: 18 years or older, can be trusted to safely use the workspace.
