Oxidised Three Layer Copper Rose with Leaf
Three layers of hand formed copper used for this rose. These roses are oxidised with a flame to a range of brilliant red tones. The leaf is made from copper tubing and soldered onto the stem.
As the oxidisation is such an organic process, the colours will vary from the photos shown. If you have a specific tone you are looking for, please send us a message or email and we will endeavour to assist you.
Product Info
Roses, a classic symbol of beauty. Our roses are created to become heirlooms. The perfect gift to mark a special occasion or as an addition to a wedding bouquet.
Each stem is approximately 30cm long and is textured using a hammer to create an organic finish.
All copper roses are hand-formed from copper sheet in our workshop in the Adelaide Hills. They have been created as a collaboration between Josh Lamborn of Hive Artisan Collective and Will Sexton, the founder of Stag Fox Forge.
Each item is created by hand and made using organic processes (not machine-made), therefore each piece may be slightly different than pictured.
Over time the colour will naturally darken and oxidise, which will add to the natural character of the piece. This oxidisation occurs when the item is exposed to air and various chemicals.
